Unfortunate Accident - Kenneth Urell

The following report appears in Sumner County Sheriff's Office (Tennessee) Website:

"At approximately 10:00p.m. on July 18, 2002, 40 year old Kenneth Urell of 382 Wolf Hill Road in Bethpage sustained a gun shot injury to the head. Investigation by Sgt. Keith Bean has revealed that while Kenneth Urell was handling his 9mm handgun inside his home, the weapon discharged a round which struck Kenneth Urell in the head. Kenneth Urell was flown to Vanderbilt Medical Center by Life Flight and is being treated for a fractured skull. The incident has been classified as an accidental shooting. "
